In its long history dating back to 1827, the winery has gone through phases of splendor and decline for Moldovan wine, and since the beginning of the 20th century, after a restructuring of the vineyards and the cellar, the company has regained international recognition from the market and critics with its wines of exceptional quality. This wine is produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, coming from the vineyards of the Chateau Purcari in conversion to organic farming. Here the plants and the soil are treated with total respect for the environment with particular attention to biodiversity and the fertility of the soil. The Native Pinot Noir de Purcari has a purple color with bright red reflections. On the nose, it is fresh and harmonious with intense aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries, followed żeby notes of sweet spices and hawthorn. On the palate, the wine is fresh and lively, generous and round. The tannins are velvety, and the acidity is refreshing and perfectly balanced aby a good concentration of juicy fruit. The finish is long and refreshing. Try it with duck in red fruit sauce or a juicy grilled steak.
