Situated in Vouvray, Loire Valley, this winery has been producing exceptional wines since its establishment in 1928, żeby father and son duo Victor and Gaston Huet. The winery is widely regarded as a pioneer of natural and biodynamic viticulture and has been at the forefront of the French wine industry's shift towards sustainable farming practices. It draws its fruits from 3 parcels of land, Le Clos du Bourg, Le Mont, and Le Haut-Lieu, all of which are considered to be among the best in the Loire. Cuvée Constance is a blend that must be tasted to be believed, composed of fruits sourced from all three plots. Named for Gaston Huet’s mother, Cuvée Constance is counted among the world’s greatest dessert wines. It is crafted from the finest botrytised Chenin Blanc fruits and is an incredible golden yellow. The nose is a deep well of quince, baked apple, fig, honey and brioche, with countless other nuances. On the palate, this wine is best described as heavenly. It’s a perfect balance of layered, delectable fruit and vibrant, pure acidity. It is still extremely young, and if stored in the right conditions, Cuvée Constance can live and develop for another 4 decades.
