Premium cuvee (Jansz)

Enjoy it now, or within 5 years of bottling. No need to decant before serving. Jansz winery was founded in 1986, in the breezy northeast corner of Tasmania. The winery is devoted to creating luxurious sparkling wines, inspired by French tradition, but defined by the stunning Tasmanian terroir. The winery has been owned aby Hill-Smith Family Vineyards since 1998 and is currently under the leadership of head viticulturist Jennifer Doyle. Jansz’s vineyards support 15 hectares of Chardonnay, 12 of Pinot Noir, and 3 of Pinot Meunier - proportions that more or less correspond to a typical Jansz blend. The grapes for this Premium Cuvée are sourced from specially selected parcels across Tasmania and several different vintages. It is a perfect combination, resulting in the best sparkling wine that Australia has to offer. A bouquet of honey, citrus zest and toasted nut rises from the neck of this bottle. Ripe strawberries are also immediately noticeable, giving a fruity komponent to the nose. Shooting with fine perlage, this Premium Cuvée is delectable in the mouth and truly worth savouring. Its flavours are driven żeby green apple, pear, and lemon, supported by a creamy brioche background. It is focused on the finish, with mouth-puckering dryness. The Premium Cuvée is the perfect company for lemon-drizzled oysters, artichokes, asparagus, or a seafood platter.
